Pro-Growth Progressive Idea: Eliminating $10 billion worth of loopholes in the sales tax in order to make pro-growth progressive investments and lower the overall tax rate
Chad Campbell is Arizona’s House Minority Leader. Chad has quickly established himself as a voice of common sense in the Arizona legislature. In just his second term, he was elected by his peers to serve in the House Democratic Leadership team in 2009-2010.
During this year’s budget crisis, Chad repeatedly called for fair and structural tax reform that would have saved Arizonans’ money, while closing tax loopholes and solving our budget deficit.
In addition to his duties as a legislator, Chad also serves on the Phoenix Environmental Quality Commission and works as an Information Technology Consultant. In October 2009, Chad was selected to be part of the White House CLEAN Coalition, a national group of state leaders working with the White House to advance federal clean energy legislation in Congress. In addition, he has been asked by former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor to join the O’Connor House Project in working to reform state government and make it more efficient, transparent, and accountable.
