Councilmember / Mesa, AZ
Francisco Heredia was appointed to the Mesa City Council to fill the vacant District 3 seat on September 28, 2017 and elected in November of 2018 to complete the term. He will serve as the District 3 Councilmember until January 2021. Councilmember Heredia has been on the forefront of efforts to bring in good quality jobs, adding public transit options, and pushing for positive redevelopment opportunities in previous distress areas of the city. In addition, Heredia has and continues to advocate for investments around education, workforce development, and smart city technology to enhance the experience of residents and businesses.
