Indiana State Representative Robin Shackleford helped advance a package of new laws to improve health care transparency and reduce out-of-pocket costs for Hoosiers. Shackleford’s HB 1065 will help expand access to cancer clinical trials by covering travel and other related costs for eligible patients. “These bills mark crucial progress toward making health care more affordable, transparent and equitable for Hoosiers. From protecting patients against predatory practices to improving accountability in our health care system, each measure signed today moves Indiana in the right direction," Shackleford said.
