Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons launched a new drone initiative that allows law enforcement to quickly respond to and monitor situations as they occur. The drones will not be used for general surveillance and will only be deployed for search and rescue, crime scenes, disaster response, and active emergencies, providing an average response time of 90 seconds.
