Mayor Wu Supports SNAP Recipients

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced a joint initiative with the Boston Initiative to continue ensuring that Boston residents on SNAP benefits can afford their groceries. Around 140,000 Bostonians are affected by the cutting of SNAP due to the shutdown, and food pantries across the city have seen close to a 100% increase in requests.
