Rep. Matt Wilhelm was first elected to the NH House of Representatives in 2018, served as Minority Leader from 2022-2024, and currently serves as House Democratic Caucus Chair. Matt began his career in public service as an AmeriCorps team leader with City Year New Hampshire, supporting diverse young Americans through a demanding year of full-time national service in under-resourced public schools. After more than a decade working in the music industry, helping touring bands and their fans mobilize to build community and create change, Matt earned his master’s of public administration from the University of New Hampshire’s Carsey School of Public Policy. Matt lives in Manchester with his two children, Ben and Rosie, and their pandemic pup, Hope.
