Seth Clark

Mayor Pro Tempore | Macon-Bibb County, GA

Seth Clark was born and raised in middle Georgia. He is a county commissioner and Mayor Pro Tempore of Macon, Georgia. First elected in 2020, and re-elected in 2024, Seth’s policy focuses have been economic development, the restructuring of the municipal tax portfolio, public safety, and normalizing government to government relations with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Seth also serves as the Executive Director of the Ocmulgee National Park and Preserve Initiative, a tribally, non-tribally led non-profit conservation organization working to create Georgia’s first National Park and Preserve among a series of culturally significant indigenous mound sites and ecologically significant hunting and fishing lands along the Ocmulgee River. Seth is also an avid fly fisherman and hunter, and is married to his best friend, Rebecca, and forever proud of his ten year old son, Stroud.
