Phoenix Unzueta
Fellow
Phoenix Unzueta is currently a NewDEAL Fellow. He is originally from Richmond, VA, and is currently a Sophomore at Georgetown University, where he majors in Government and with a minor in Spanish.
In the past, Phoenix has worked on projects such as campaigning for local politicians in Virginia, as well as an internship with the Virginia Department of General Services. Currently, his academic extracurriculars include the Georgetown University Democrats, Hoyas for Human Rights, and the Georgetown Undergraduate and Graduate Association of Mexican Students. He aims to continue his studies with a particular interest in advocacy and campaigning for progressive candidates. He looks forward to supporting the NewDEAL team!
