NewDEAL Leader New York Assemblymember David Buchwald recently had several of his bills signed into law, including two to address common election issues as part of a comprehensive election reform effort passed by the Legislature that also included early voting and pre-registration. One bill clarifies the process to appoint poll watchers, while the other ensures poll locations are adequately staffed - both modernize elections and improve efficiency for an easier experience for voters.
