Fare-Free Election Day

Cincinnati Councilmember P.G. Sittenfeld announced that the City Council, Cincinnati Metro, and a private foundation have teamed up to make City transportation services free on Election Day. “[A]ccess and connectivity are also key ingredients in democracy and the democratic process,” Sittenfeld remarked, “And we want to do our part to ensure access… to maximize democratic participation - regardless of one’s political affiliation.” Read more about the initiative here.
