Introducing the 2023 Ideas Challenge Judges

We are thrilled to recognize the judges for this year’s Ideas Challenge – NewDEAL’s biennial policy competition through which we collect innovative policy solutions from NewDEAL Leaders across the nation to help us spread their ideas. For our sixth Ideas Challenge, we aim to highlight policies that demonstrate how government can work effectively to solve problems and deliver results on the biggest issues facing your communities.

We’re proud to have our Challenge judges join us in our work to highlight promising policy solutions. This judging panel is made up of esteemed thought leaders and experts in their fields, who will draw on their expertise to help us identify the most impactful and innovative solutions and determine which submissions will be selected as winners featured in GOVERNING Magazine. (See the 2021 Challenge Winners Feature here.)

There’s still time to submit before the July 31st deadline. NewDEALers can submit a policy in any stage of the process, from an initial concept to a policy that’s already been implemented. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions by sending a note to estevan@newdealleaders.org.
