NewDEAL Welcomes New Class of Democratic Rising Stars

WASHINGTON — It’s a new day at the NewDEAL, with the addition of a class of 22 state and local elected officials to the center-left network’s ranks.

According to NewDEAL, each of the new members is being welcomed aboard due to their track record of developing smart, pragmatic policy and governing effectively.

“Hardworking families are rightly looking for elected officials who will focus on lowering costs and increasing economic opportunity rather than scoring political points,” said NewDEAL CEO Debbie Cox Bultan in a written statement.

“From cities and towns to state governments, these leaders are developing and implementing ideas that focus on the cost-of-living crisis, good jobs, public safety, education, clean energy, and a strong democracy,” Bultan continued.
