Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis Promoted Pilot Program to Develop Property Infrastructure for New Companies and Businesses

PENNSYLVANIA: Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis is promoting the state’s Strategic Investments to Enhance Sites (SITES) pilot program to develop the property’s infrastructure for potential new companies and businesses in the location. The SITES pilot program, championed by NewDEAL alumnus Gov. Josh Shapiro and current leader Lt Gov. Davis, has dispersed $10.6 million among seven recipients to develop lands businesses can relocate or expand. A recent Bedford County redevelopment project will transform undeveloped land into a site that will house new facilities for US-based Cell-Con, a custom battery pack manufacturer, with more to come.
