Michigan: Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced a partnership with Saginaw district high schools to encourage active civic participation by removing barriers that prevent students from completing driver’s education and obtaining state identification through this program; students will also be pre-registered to vote and receive nonpartisan information about civics and the importance of election participation.
