Washington, D.C. – NewDEAL applauds Democratic delegates for uniting behind Vice President Kamala Harris as the official Democratic candidate for President. Her forward-looking vision and commitment to fundamental freedoms are exactly what our country needs at this moment.
In nominating Kamala Harris, Democrats reaffirmed our commitment to freedom & opportunity, including freedom to thrive economically; freedom from gun violence; freedom to love and marry with pride; freedom to read books without government censorship; and reproductive freedom.
