Held virtually, we’ll gather NewDEAL Leaders and partners for our signature spring event. Keynote speakers and breakout discussions will tackle the most significant challenges and opportunities for elected officials to help their communities and our country emerge from the pandemic stronger than before. Sessions will focus on ideas for state and local leaders to deal with simultaneous crises around public health, economic opportunity, racial justice, and climate change, including their role in maximizing the impact of the American Rescue Plan to build a more equitable economy. We’ll also reflect on what has changed and what hasn’t a year after the death of George Floyd, as well as the future of our democracy in this highly polarized environment.
