Aidan Alcaraz

Aidan Alcaraz works at the NewDeal as a 2024 Spring Fellow. He supports the team by assisting efforts to identify and promote Leader’s policy efforts through the organization’s weekly newsletters and supports the Forum’s climate policy work among other policy efforts.

Originally from Lake Elsinore, CA, Aidan is a student at University of California Riverside and is currently a participant in the UC Washington Center Program (UCDC) where he is gaining institutional credits and meaningful experiences in the United States Capitol City.

Prior to joining the NewDEAL, Aidan interned for NPR’s station, KVCR, in San Bernardino, California where he was able to research, write, record, and edit news stories for Radio and their website. He wants to earn his degree so he can go to Law school, become a lawyer, and help people in various fields of law like criminal defense, constitutional law, and immigration law.
